1. The Towering Petronas Twin Towers

The first on the list is the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. A towering 375 meter tall building, it still is a hot tourist destination to be visited not only for its height but its design and views from above. See the sights of the beautiful horizon and city line from the interconnecting sky bridge.

With over 5,000 animals and species, this aquarium is a remarkable activity to do indoors away from the heat and humidity. Not only does it showcase marine life in gorgeous exhibitions but it also provides an interactive learning experience the species. Just around the corner of the Petronas Twin Tower, it is really a fantastic place to visit. Observing the mysteries of the aquatic world from a safe and comfortable environment cannot be compared to anything else.

3. Experience The Nightlife

Kuala Lumpur's nightlife is not to be forgotten about. There are lavish bars, lounges, nightclubs and even astounding rooftop bars to not only enjoy the night but enjoy it with style. With good music, gorgeous views, countless tropical drinks available and snacking options - your day and night will be filled up. Here are some top nightlife places to get your drinks on.

Malaysia has a rich culture and heritage, and the Batu Caves really expresses this. The Batu caves can be typically crowded with tourists, but it is a sight to see. Just one hour away from Kuala Lumpur is Awana SkyWay which is an attraction as well as transportation to get to Genting Highlands. This 10 minute ride takes you through the mountainous range through the clouds on a calming and a quite romantic trip. Best to observe in the evening when the sun has not set, but the city lights are slowly lighting up the sky. Once reaching Genting Highlands there is a multitude of other activities to partake in.

Where to stay?

Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia is relatively quite affordable. 3 Star hotels can be as little as $50 AUD a night while 5-star hotels or even resorts can be from $200 AUD. It is ideal to have this booked at the same time you book your flights if you want to secure the desired accommodation.
