Do gaming mice really make a difference? The answer is: Of course, Yes

Gaming mice, by name, make it pretty clear that they are crafted especially for gaming. I mean, obviously, you can use them for other basic purposes as well, but the configuration of these mice are made by keeping gamers in mind. So, you cannot essentially expect a great speed or precision from a normal mouse that you can expect from a gaming mouse.

Gaming is very popular among teenagers and adults alike. Everyone wants to have the highest score in their gaming tournaments. They get high-end systems, newly released mice, and also make sure that their clicking practice is running on a regular basis. Clicking speed is a very essential part of gaming. Obviously, most parts of gaming include rapid moving cursor and great clicking speed. It is your own speed that is translated to the speed that you function with while gaming. It is a great deal for everyone to have a CPS of not less than 12-14. CPS stands for Clicks per Speed, and it is nothing but the number of clicks one can perform over a given amount of time. Gamers check their click speed and practice the same at websites like Clicks Speed, which provides you with the opportunity to choose your test time, as well as get real-time scores.

Now, let us know what difference does a gaming mouse makes to your gaming!

Look-wise, gaming mice are way more attractive than regular mice. You cannot use a flashy, multicoloured mouse at your office, can you? So, gaming mice are made to give the user the feel of a real game zone. But, that doesn’t mean you simply purchase the first attractive mouse that you see. You also need to consider some other factors.

DPI

DPI stands for dots per inch. Dots are points that your cursor can register on the screen for one inch in the mouse movement. If the DPI for your mouse is 2000, that means your mouse can register 2000 points between your mouse’ movement of one inch. Gaming mice generally have a higher DPI than regular mice. These mice are highly sensitive to your movements and perform perfectly on screen.

Buttons

Gaming mice often come with extra buttons. These buttons help you make additional inputs without having to move your fingers much. Now, that doesn’t come in handy! You can keep your hands in a resting position for a long time, and still get a jet speed on your screen.

Polling Rate

Your polling rate is the reporter of your mouse sensitivity. Even if your DPI is more, if the polling rate isn’t enough, your gaming performance could be slowed down by your mouse. Your mouse won’t be able to register the subtle changes in positions to your system. With the gaming mice, even the polling rate is high. There is no way, it would slow you down.

Final Words

With the additional features, gaming mouse always exceeds normal mice in performance. Apart from that, you also get a very pretty looking and comfortable mouse on the top of your desk.  Doesn’t that really make a difference? It does, right!
