Do you know that there might be some unclaimed property on your name?

Yes, this is true. If a business sends you a check and it goes undelivered, the check goes to the state. The state department keeps the money untouched for a few years in case you happen to be looking for that money.

Here are the links to government sites to search for the property that is actually yours.

If you ever lived in California:

https://ucpi.sco.ca.gov/UCP/Default.aspx

If you ever lived in Washington:

https://ucp.dor.wa.gov

If you ever lived in Texas:

https://claimittexas.org

If you ever lived in Oregon:

https://oregonup.us/upweb/up/UP_search.asp

If you ever lived in Florida:

https://www.fltreasurehunt.gov/ControlServlet?ActionForm=GotoNewPublicSearch

If you ever lived in Illinois:

https://icash.illinoistreasurer.gov/app/claim-search

If you ever lived in Pittsburgh:

https://www.patreasury.gov/unclaimed-property

Or search google for "unclaimed property yourstate". If you found any money, please comment below to help others.
