1888 Press Release - Bangkok-Osaka has become the latest flight route in operation to see the return of Royal First Class from Thai Airways International, the national flag carrier airline of Thailand. Thai Airways recently welcomed three new Boeing 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft into its fleet, which features a Royal First Class option, where passengers can enjoy a truly luxurious in-flight experience.

Following the return of Royal First Class on THAI flights from Bangkok to London in late April 2022, Bangkok-Osaka became the second route offering the luxury flying experience to passengers in early June 2022.

The Royal First Class service provides travellers with a spacious cabin and a state-of-the-art flying experience, along with THAI’s award-winning cabin service and the latest selection of in-flight entertainment. The new Boeing aircraft operated by Thai Airways is also designed to be environmentally friendly, with enhanced fuel efficiency to help reduce carbon emissions.

Osaka, sometimes referred to as the ‘The Kitchen of Japan’, is the third largest city in the country, with a population of over 2.6 million inhabitants. The city has become well-known throughout Asia as a centre for trade and industry. Now, passengers onboard the roughly 5 h 30 min flight can enjoy First Class comfort and amenities on their upcoming flight from Bangkok to Osaka. TG622/TG623 operates the Bangkok – Osaka – Bangkok route.

THAI has also announced Royal First Class service on another flight route, with Bangkok – Tokyo (Narita) – Bangkok flights providing the option beginning on July 1st, 2022. With the luxury experience onboard now back in service, passengers can become amongst the first to travel with THAI’s Royal First Class to Osaka or Tokyo (Narita), along with Bangkok to London flights.

For more information on Osaka, or to book Royal First Class flights to Osaka, visit the Thai Airways International website.
