Prostatitis is a common disease in the department of urinary surgery. It can be classified into acute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis. The onset of acute prostatitis is usually sudden and severe while the symptoms of chronic prostatitis is relatively slighter but persistent. Acute prostatitis is generally caused by bacterial infection. The causes of chronic prostatitis are much more complex. Bacterial infection is one cause of chronic prostatitis but there are many other factors that may cause chronic prostatitis as well. Chronic prostatitis caused by bacterial infection is called chronic bacterial infection and chronic prostatitis caused by non-bacterial factors is called chronic nonbacterial prostatitis or chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Among different types of prostatitis, chronic prostatitis is the most common type in the clinical cases, which takes up ninety percent to ninety-five percent of the total number. Although medical scientists have been working hard in the cure of chronic prostatitis, the causes of chronic prostatitis remain unclear until now.

Some possible causes of chronic prostatitis accepted by most of medical scientists include: high mental pressure, deficiency of immunity, physical groin injury, inflammation caused by the backwards flowing of urine into the prostate, unknown infection.

The major symptoms of chronic prostatitis include:

1. Pain

The patients with chronic prostatitis usually feel pain at the tip of the penis, in the lower abdomen and back, and around the anus. The pain may spread into the scrotum  well. Pain in these regions is the most typical and common symptom of chronic prostatitis. The severity of the pain may vary from patient to patient. And the pain usually grows stronger day by day as the time goes by.

2. Urinary symptoms

Patients with chronic prostatitis will suffer from painful and frequent urination, urgent urination, difficulty urinating, a weak urinary stream.

3. Sexual dysfunction

Sexual dysfunction is another big problem which can be brought by chronic prostatitis. Common symptoms of sexual dysfunction among the patients with chronic prostatitis include impotence, premature ejaculation, painful ejaculation. Sexual dysfunction can put much pressure on the patients and make the treatment of chronic prostatitis even more difficult.

The prostate is an important genital of men. Chronic prostatitis can influence the produce of semen and lead to male infertility. It is a common disease but also is hard to cure. If it is treated in time with effective treatment method, it is curable. Diuretic and Anti-inflammation Pill is just an effective medicine for the treatment of chronic prostatitis. Its herbal formula won’t do any harm to the body and it provides with a natural and effective treatment.
