Yummilicious Pineapple Cake Recipe

No one says No to a cake. It is that one dessert which always makes everyone swoon over its unbeatable taste and enticing looks. One look and you are pleased; one bite and you are hooked. That is what a cake does. And especially when the cake is the classic Pineapple cake, this sensational creamy dessert with juicy pineapple chunks becomes an instant favourite of almost everyone!

Given below is the recipe of pineapple cake for you to try at home and savour the rich taste right after it is out from the oven. Here you go:

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups cream- chilled and whipped enough to hold its shape
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cake tins, 8 inch round- lined with butter paper or greased and floured
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1/4 cup of the syrup
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder

Here’s how you can make it:

  1. Preheat the oven at 350◦F. Grease three 8 inches cake pans and place the parchment paper at the bottom. Sprinkle some granulated sugar over it, till the pan is well coated.
  1. In a bowl, beat 4 eggs, one at a time.
  1. Now, add the baking powder, vanilla, sugar in the aforementioned quantity and beat well till the mixture appears light and foamy.
    Note: To confirm that the mixture is beaten well and enough, see if it leaves a trail over the batter when the beater is lifted above it. However, the trail should blend back into the batter.
  2. Now, fold 1 tbsp of flour and do the same with the rest of the flour.
  3. Next, pre-heat oven at 350 Degrees
  1. Pour the batter prepared into the greased and floured cake pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Note: Check the doneness of the cake by inserting the wooden toothpick. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  2. When the cake is done and cools off, pour half of the pineapple syrup on one layer and spread whipped cream along with chopped pineapple over it. Now, cover with another layer of cake, pour the rest of the syrup and cover with cream entirely.

    Note: You can use fresh pineapples but the tinned one which comes in syrup is a good option too.
  3. Now, decorate with the pineapple slices and enjoy!
