Most people have difficulties in using excel; this has been seen mostly by new employees who know Microsoft Word. Companies have come up with excel training materials to help such employees fit in their job description. Excel is vast and needs a specific understanding otherwise; one can delete a single cell and ruin everything else. Here are ways on how to use excel.
They organize data in your spreadsheet without deleting any information. They can sum up a particular figure and give you total results; this means that you don't have to work on an equation. It has a report filter that is used to filter a particular report of a specific person or area; this means it will give you an exact information which you have requested. You can label your columns and rows with the names you want to use and also delete if an error occurs. It can give you the value of anything you want from the data you have put across, from the lowest and to the largest.
Adding of Column
You can add as many columns as you want by right-clicking, then selecting insert; it will give you an option of inserting rows or column and how many you want to add. You can do this when you have highlighted the place you want the column to appear. The same way is used to delete unwanted columns and rows.
There is the filtering part; this applies when you want to filter any data you have put across. When you open your excel spreadsheet, you will see a tab that is written filter; you highlight the part you want to filter and then click on the filter tab.
You can remove duplicate of anything that has been repeated several times; this is by highlighting the part you want to remove copy and then click on the data tab to remove duplicates. It will show you if you're going to delete all or in columns, you are the one decide the one that works best for you.
Most people don't know how to use excel formulas, in one way or another, its simple to you. The things you need to do is use the plus sign for adding, minus for subtracting, a star for multiplying and stroke sign for dividing. This can be seen in the third part of tabs when you open excel.
