Hey lovelies! How are ya’ll today? Great I hope! Did you notice the change in my tagline? It used to be “A biology major addicted to nail art.” Now, it is “An optometry student & amateur nail artist.” Yes, that’s right: I’ve been accepted to optometry school! I’m so happy to be one step closer to my dream. Now let’s talk nails because I know that’s what you’re here for LOL.

Today I am reviewing a cotton claw I received from Maggie at BeautyBigBang. BeautyBigBang is a global online retailer for all things beauty (cosmetics, nails, hair, health care, etc). I’ve been reviewing their products since August of this year, including thermal nail polish, holo nail polish, nail art brushes, etc. Also, they offer free shipping worldwide for orders that contain more than one item. Delivery time takes 2-4 weeks. Use my code LALA010 for 10% off your order!

This is the first time I’m posting a video to my blog! It only made sense to show you guys a demo of how the manicure saver cotton claw is used. So let’s get into the pictures, video, and details!

Description: A stainless steel, innovative tool to remove nail polish without ever touching the acetone soaked cotton ball.

How to use: When you press down the black tip., the claw part will open. Hold the black tip down and press the claw part into the cotton ball. Release the black tip, which will cause the claw to grab the cotton ball. My cotton ball had already been dipped in acetone before it was attached to the claw because my nails were naked. If your nails are painted, wait until the cotton ball is attached to the claw before soaking the cotton ball.

Availability: Available now.

Price: $3.99 USD

Overall thoughts: This is a really cool tool. It is easy to use and useful for cleaning my stamping mat. I probably won’t use it to remove nail polish from my nails, unless I use it for my toe nails which are hardly ever painted. However, I definitely will be using it from now on to clean my mat. I highly recommend it.
