From one corner of the world to another, there are many places where you can go to enjoy the perfect exotic vacation, provided that you know exactly what you are looking for.

From Fiji to Turkey, Guatemala, and the Caribbean, below is a list of some of the best exotic destinations in the world, together with what makes them unique, to help you prepare for your next trip to paradise. No matter if you are looking for virgin beaches, luxury hotels, or yacht trips, we got you covered, so continue reading to find out more.

Taveuni, Fiji

Fiji can't be missing from any list of exotic holiday destinations. Taveuni is the third-largest island out of the 330 that comprise the Fiji archipelago, offering full solitude and isolation if you need to, all while being surrounded by friendly culture and magnificent national parks.

Soft coral abounds in the seas, which is frequently luminous and home to a diverse assortment of fish, turtles, and other marine animals. This destination is a diver's dream, so if you like to venture into the depths of the clear blue water, this is the place for you. If your plan is to read by the beach all day, Taveuni is also a great destination, as you will get blown away by the beautiful beaches and crystal waters.

Turks and Caicos Islands

Often referred to as having the most beautiful beaches in all the Caribbeans, the Turks and Caicos Islands are truly the land of paradise. Here, you will find some of the most beautiful beaches, surrounded by rugged clifftops and wrapped in interesting Indian-turned-European history.

If you plan to vacation here, expect delicious fish barbeques as well as elegant Caribbean cuisine, lots of SCUBA dive sites, and a chance to observe some of the most beautiful animals out there, including the multicolored iguana and the wonderful eagle rays. What you must be doing, however, if you get a chance to visit the area, is embark on a Turks and Caicos yacht cruise to get a full chance to explore the area. You'll get a chance to do some snorkeling, visit abandoned ships, and go cliff jumping into the blue waters.

Cappadocia, Turkey

Turkey is already a beautiful country with a mesmerizing culture, but Cappadocia is something entirely different. The region is home to some of the most interesting geo-formation in the country, and the best part is, you get to explore it both above and underground.

This is a destination for the explorers out there, with an impressive subterranean cave system that connects underground towns and awaits to be discovered.

If you want to enjoy something entirely different, you can choose to sleep at a unique cave hotel. Even if they are carved in stone, some of these hotels are more luxurious than you think, featuring impressive outdoor and indoor pools, saunas, Turkish baths, and all the amenities you can imagine.

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

In the Guatemalan highlands of the Sierra Madra Mountain range, this lovely lake is surrounded by three towering volcanoes – Atitlan, Tolimán, and San Pedro – and has quickly become one of the most visited places in the region. It's one of those exotic vacations where serenity and tranquility reign supreme, and only the sound of the birds disturb your mediation.

With captivating beauty all around, Lake Atitlan provides a beautiful backdrop for yoga, hiking, and kayaking. Lake Atitlan is the deepest lake in Central America, making it an amazing destination for water activities, while the dense forests that surround it attract plenty of hikers and wildlife lovers.

Taha'a, French Polynesia

An island brimming with bananas, melons, and coconut?! What more can you wish for? Mother Nature's did an outstanding job that resulted in an island shaped like a flower and smelling like vanilla beans, and we're not joking. This is where 80% of Tahitian vanilla is produced, after all, so you can expect t find this ingredient in pretty much everything you eat.

Tahitian vanilla orchids thrive in these rich valleys, which are found nearly everywhere on Taha'a, plus there is so much to see and do around! The natural beauty is breathtaking, and visitors can stroll through beautiful valleys, hike, and climb slopes to explore the island's magical and diverse flora and wildlife.

Seychelles

Seychelles is an archipelago of over 100 islands situated in the Indian Ocean, just off the eastern coast of Africa. These beautiful islands have beaches and resorts where guests may enjoy snorkeling and diving among the coral reefs and maybe even spot a big Aldabra tortoise unique to the area.

If you want to explore the lands, Seychelles has beautiful nature reserves with tropical forests, waterfalls, and rocky green mountains, as well as the highland rainforest of Morne Seychellois National Park, which visitors can tour. However, you can't truly say you have been to Seychelles if you don't fully explore the waters surrounding it.

St. Barts, The Caribbean

If you want to go on vacation and have the chance to run into your favorite movie star, St. Barts is the place to be. Clean beaches, private villas, and impressive landscapes are just some of the aspects that make St. Barts one of the best luxurious vacation destinations out there.

Popular activities in St. Barts include snorkeling, diving, kite-surfing, kayaking, fishing, surfing, and sailing, in addition to sunbathing on the beaches, shopping, and feasting on amazing dishes. Still if you don't want to break the bank, try looking for low season deals, and you'll get a chance to vacation like the rich and famous, but at a fraction of the price.
