The new service makes THAI one of the few airlines in the region to offer a direct service to the gateway of tourism on the renowned island of Honshu.
Bangkok – Officially launching on October 29th, 2019, a new route between Sendai and Bangkok will commence making Japan closer than ever. The airline will offer three flights per week between the two cities.
With the official announcement from the airline taking place at the Toyotsu Japan Festival, the new service ensures a “smooth as silk” voyage on one of the region’s leading airlines.
The gateway for tourism in the Tohoku region, Sendai is located 300 km northeast of Tokyo on Honshu Island. 0ne of the most historically rich cities in the entire country, the surrounding region of Sendai is dotted with important religious shrines and relaxing thermal spas, known locally as onsens.
