When the baby is in the womb of their mother, the health of the baby totally depends on the health of their mother. If the mother lives healthy, it ensures the baby lives healthy. There are certain things that the mothers should be careful about when the baby is in her womb.

1.    Take your medicines on time

It is important for the mother to refer good gynecologists and follow the instructions of the doctor correctly. Having the necessary nutrients is beneficial for the health of both mother and baby.

2.    Quit smoking and drinking alcohol

Smoking and alcohol consumption is anyway bad for a person’s health and to top it if a mother continues the habit of smoking and drinking while she is pregnant it can really affect the health of the baby. The chances of miscarriage even increase.

3.    Avoid junk food and eat healthily

A home cooked, healthy and freshly made meal is better for a mother’s body as the chances of any unhygienic elements and the stale food are lesser. Eating healthy food like fruits, green vegetables, eggs, etc. can prove to be good for the better growth of the baby. Do refer your doctor, and ask if any food item should be avoided by you in particular.

4.    Sleep towards your left

Sleeping towards your left is the better way to sleep, especially when you are pregnant. It is better for the blood circulation in the body. A better blood circulation implies that the baby get the required nutrients easily from the mother.

5.    Cut down on caffeine

If you are a coffee or a tea lover, you should really limit your caffeine intake to a considerable amount. Consumption of excessive caffeine is not good for the baby.

The most important thing that a woman should do is, take care of her. If the woman has a healthy lifestyle, the chances of the baby being born healthy are way higher. A Little bit of exercise as per the doctor’s recommendation can also prove to be highly beneficial
