With a hike in the temperature comes the innate desire to fondle with something cool and chilly. And having said this, all I can think of is a bowl of Choco-chip vanilla ice cream, covered with Hershey’s Choco syrup. Yum!!

The warm weather and the heat in the air can get us a bit sweaty but desserts are any time mood-lifters. They are nothing short of a boon after a hot scrumptious dinner. Or, make them at home and have it anytime you want at your cosy spot. Or simply order desserts online if you don’t wish to make them all by yourself.

I remember in my childhood days, every alternative Sunday dad would take us to a nearby sweet shop where they would also keep ice creams, and that’s the reward I would get if I fared well in my classroom examinations. Worth the effort! But these days you don’t have to go through the hurdle of driving all that far. Thanks to food delivery apps, you can check desserts onlineif you are in Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai or in any city you live in. Slowly these food delivery apps have started to spread their radar in every remote corner of the country.

Flipping furtherthrough the pages of my childhood memories… I loved visiting the malls with my mom. Because, while she would be busy buying the daily groceries, I would sneak in to the ice cream counter, I would buy a tub with the help of some savings of my pocket money! I totally get the strategy of these ice cream packaging. They are sooo alluring..

A week back I had to travel to Gurgaon and had put up in friend’s place at DLF Phase 3… First of all I would add that I have always loved traveling…It meant, a possibility of meeting new people, making new friends, new sight-seeing, trying different street foods, experiencing the fresh new breeze of the city… It’s all so mesmerising.

I had put up at a friend’s place where he was staying alone. But the very first day after reaching Gurgaon, I was physically exhausted after my journey. So rather than going out we decided to order food online. So we ordered a main course and to add to our sweet tooth he added two tiramisus (Italian name which means ‘lift me up’) to the order for both us. The dinner was lip-smacking and the tiramisu was all the beauty we thought it would be!!

But my sweet craving didn’t end just there. In fact it might have gotten a bit aggravated after the delicious tiramisu. So the next day we checked few desserts online and listed the nearby places to pay a visit. That way, I would get to explore the streets of Gurgaon too. And boy, we were in for a treat!!

When you order food online in Gurgaon you will be surprised by the varieties of scrumptious goodies these portals have in store for you. Order a couple of Millionaire brownies, sandwiches and strawberry cheese cake and decided to settle in to my cosy corner with a mug full of hot coffee along with your favourite book or simply switch on the TV to watch your favourite series!
